• Bio

  Never had Casper been close to being Reaped. He had gone all his 18 years where the most dangerous thing could be a horse kicking you in the face. He hasn't been trained to fight, hasn't been taught to survive. His muscles come from lifting and carrying heavy things, not getting in fights. When Casper is thrown into the Games it would only be inevitable he die. He tells himself only one more year of the Reaping anxiety before he can be free.
  
  He knows he won't ever have children because he doesn't want them to be in the danger that every child has been in since their birth. He lives with his aunt after his parents ran away from the District. They had him at a very young age. They didn't know how to raise a child, let alone without money and the threat if the games still hanging over them every year. They ran away and left him with his mother's sister. She was four years older, knew what to do with him. Ever since he could think for himself he knew his parents were dead. If not dead Avoxes. He had heard horrible tales told in classes. No one who ran away got away safely.
  
  He wasn't perceived as deadly, not even violent. He was self sufficient yes. Independent for sure. But he didn't know much about killing people. He was quiet, tall and awkward. He was the underdog. Even he had absolutely no hope that he would win these games. He had a coldness within him however that was just dying to freeze the rest of his heart.
  
  Casper had a lifetime of working with animals, feeding them, raising them, killing them. But could killing people really be that different?
